Today’s World of Adventuring: Watch, Listen, Interact
Our Promise to You
We will still create the stories and adventures for you. They will not be created by AI.
In what we have done up to now, we have already embraced the modern world. Our adventures already contain loads of pictures. Instead of describing a landscape , we show you a picture. Not the classical way, but very appealing
We want to add to your enjoyment by augmenting what we do now with the tools that are now commonly available.
There will still be words, but they will be aided by these other media.
Video
I can tell you about a man tackling a kangaroo, or I can show you. Click below to see.
I am sure some might prefer the language, but modern culture suggest otherwise.
Audio
Post trip interpretations are often brief but with impact. But sometimes adding what sounds like real time verbal refections can convey the emotion. The way I say it adds to the impact.
Example
My Life Lesson from the Wild
By staring at the lion and backing away, I looked like an enemy who didn’t want to fight. The lion really didn’t want to fight either.
The lesson to me in my life after that was if I backed away from trouble, trouble probably wouldn’t follow.
Or this
Interaction
I want to be clear up front: I won’t be adding interactive features right away. I need to understand my workload with everything already in the pipeline before I take on anything new.
But I do like the idea of interaction — and once I know what I can realistically manage, here are some possibilities that could be considered:
Reader Reflections — A place where you can respond to stories, share your thoughts, or add your own experiences.
Quick Polls — Simple questions that let you help shape what comes next.
Interactive Maps — Clickable routes showing where adventures and birding trips happened.
Choose‑Your‑Path Moments — Small decisions inside a story that let you participate in the experience.
Member Discussions — Conversation spaces inside the Members area.
Audio or Video Responses — Opportunities for you to share your own reflections or clips.
These are ideas — not promises. If I get around to them, they’ll be added thoughtfully, and only when I know they’ll enhance your experience rather than overload mine.
